David Bennett holds a Natural England and CCW licence in respect of bats and great crested newts, he is an experienced ecologist and all round naturalist. He is experienced in submitting licence applications and developing mitigation schemes. He is also a full member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM); all surveys are carried out using their guidance (bat surveys are carried out using BCT guidance).

He has been involved in ecology and conservation for over twelve years having worked for Avon Wildlife Trust, Countryside Council for Wales, C.E.H., North Pennines AONB, Mendip Hills AONB and Local Authorities. Although a specialist in bat ecology, great crested newts, Phase 1 and invertebrates he can undertake most types of ecological work. He is experienced with a wide variety of habitats (including uplands); including working on SSSI and SAC designated sites

Based near Holywell in north Wales he operates across England and Wales
